Chidinma Ekile (also known as Ms Kedike) is a famous Nigerian singer. She came into limelight following her win at the third season of MTN singing contest Project Fame West Africa. She is our celebrity of the week and below, you can get to know more about the delectable and ever amiable young lady.
Chidinma was born in the year 1991, the sixth of seven children. Although her parents are originally from Imo State in eastern Nigeria, she was born in Lagos and grew up around the Ketu area of the city where she spent most of her formative years and even attended primary school before moving with her family to Ikorodu; also in Lagos. She is said to have discovered her special musical inclinations at the age of six, and by the time she was ten years old she was already singing in her church choir. She later auditioned for and won the third season of Project Fame West Africa and the rest of history.
While competing on Project Fame West Africa Chidinma gained admission into the university but [un]fortunately to turn down the offer to first “blow”. Luckily, she did blow by winning the competition after which she enrolled back at the university of Lagos where she currently studies Sociology. She has always known how important a university education is and had revealed during an interview sometime ago about how she has always been serious about her education and had only chosen to continue with the competition as against going off to school because she wanted to see it through; the competition that is.
From 2010 when the third season of the Project Fame West Africa competition took place to now, the young woman has become quite famous and wealthy. Her songs are quite popular and her shows are sold out. Moreover, she currently serves as Brand Ambassador to a number of corporations. Indeed, life could not be any easier for the singer/song-writer.
